This anatomical change may have unilateral or bilateral involvement. Ultrasound examination revealed tortuous, dilated right from pelvis bladder; no uroliths identified cause potential obstruction, but ipsilateral kidney showed increased cortical echogenicity, loss corticomedullary definition, moderate pelvic dilation. These findings supported presumptive ureter. For purpose confirming this suspicion, excretory urography performed, revealing radiopaque uptake following path urethra. Once confirmed, surgery performed correct using standard neoureterocistostomy technique. Considering involvement, location insertion, preserved function, decision made perform neoureterostomy. During it possible identify that be intramural. At 2-month follow-up, had resolved control significant improvement inflammatory appearance parenchyma, with signs ureter.Discussion: Different what happens male dogs, females an will often main (and, often, only) symptom, usually first months life. As pollakiuria suggests wide range diseases tract, considered first-line imaging modality choice, indispensable for ruling out differential diagnoses such severe tract infection, urolithiasis, even malignancy. Despite literature reporting persists 44 67% ectopia, after there recovery patient two months. Accessible techniques like ultrasonography supplemented one another elucidation case, both demonstrating excellent contribution well served support planning, enabling effective repair consequent patient.
